Mustad Longline AS is a Norwegian manufacturing company owned by the holding company Mustad AS and 6th generation of the Mustad family. Mustad was Norway’s first multinational company in the end of 1800. The Mustad products are sold and distributed in more than 170 markets world wide today. The company is based in the town of Gjøvik, situated by the lake Mjøsa about 15 kilometres north of the capital, Oslo. The company manufactures and sells equipment for the longline fleet world wide and has more then 90 % market share. Mustad Longline employs 60 people and has sales and service personnel in Aalesund, Seattle, Iceland, Argentina, New Zealand, Russia, Greenland, Faroes and France.
The main objective with this site is to make information about our products accessible and to create a site that is a natural first choice for information regarding longlining equipment. New record on a 15 ton boat
Ragnar SF ex Venni GK in Hornarfjordur, on the south east coast of Iceland reports of new record The crew of four got 15,6 tons in one trip in 12 hours. Ragnar SF is a VIKINGUR FISHING BOAT by Samtak in Iceland and has MUSTAD coastal system with capacity of 13 500 hooks 39975 12/0, Dyrkorn Line 7 mm 1,4 spacing and BEITIR hauler BS - 230. All other deck equipment is from BEITIR ehf.

Marine Expo, formerly Fish Expo, has a long-standing connection to the
Northwest marine industry. Qualified buyers from throughout the Pacific
Coast region visit the show year after year looking for the new and the
