Crew requirement:

The total number of crew will vary from vessel to vessel and depends upon hauling speed, type of fishery and fish handling.

The actual Hauling Operation can be handled by 3 crew members and the same 3 can also handle the Shooting and Baiting Operation.

Vessels:
Conversion of trawlers, seiners, crabbers to longlining is made easy with the Mustad Autoline, fishing lines, lines,. Multipurpose vessels can get the System installed in a container, and it can take just hours to change from one fishery to another.

Installation and Training:
Mustad offers a professional supervisor to assist with the installation of the Mustad Autoline, fishing lines, lines,. A typical installation will take about 1 to 3 weeks depending on the complexibility of the system. The supervisor will also conduct a course in System operation and maintenance. Mustad can also provide instructors to go on the first fishing trip and assist the crew in System operations.
